POLICIES

  • Elite Dog Services is fully insured; however, we recommend you also insure your own dog as we are not liable for any injury, death, sickness or damage to any dog that uses our service.

  • Male dogs must be neutered, and female dogs spayed.

  • If your dog shows any sign of aggression to staff or other dogs availing of this service, they will not be able to continue to use our services.

  • If any owner is rude to staff members their dog will not be allowed continue to attend daycare.

  • Please also remember that dogs’ behavior changes as they age and are exposed to different environments. At our daycare we pride ourselves in catering for the best that we feel dogs need, we treat them like dogs and not children.

  • Before attending day care, your dog will have to attend a temperament assessment which costs €10. Day care unfortunately does not suit every dog and we need to ensure that every dog that attends day care can interact and play happily without disruption to existing residents so that all dogs have an enjoyable experience with us. ANY sign of aggressive behavior towards another dog or staff member will mean that your dog can not attend day care. Dog behaviour can change as dogs age and so we continuously will inform owners of this. If negative behaviour develops at any stage of attendance that staff is unhappy with, they will not be allowed to continue to attend.

  • DHPPI, LEPTO & KENNEL COUGH vaccinations must be up to date and proof provided. All dogs using Elite Dog Services should be treated for fleas and worms every 12 weeks.

  • Payment is Due by Friday of each week by cash or card. Late payment will mean non attendance the following week.

  • Dogs are to be dropped off by 9.30am. Do not arrive at the daycare after this time no matter what the reason. Politely just text you will be not attending.

  • When dropping off your dog to daycare, please be patient if there are other people there. First come first served.

  • Last pick up 6.25pm sharp. Late fee applies. If you are late 3 times you will not be allowed to continue attending daycare.

  • If for whatever reason you cannot attend daycare, please text to let us know. This applies to both ad hoc booking and set day booking. We need to know who we are expecting to arrive each day.

The following applies for customers wishing to book Ad Hoc (without commitment):

  • Booking by text, only up to a week before for the following weeks attendance.

  • Cancellation to be given by 5pm at the latest 2 working days before booked attendance to day care or dog walk, or a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking will be required.

  • No shows or on the day cancellation will be charged the full amount.

    The following applies for set day bookings:

    • Your dog will be automatically on our booking system continuously every week for the days you have selected. You do not have to book weekly.

    • Whether you attend or not on these days you will have to pay for them. Payment will be asked for the week you will be missing daycare, the week before.

    • Changing from set days to ad hoc is absolutely fine as we try to cater to everyone’s needs. However, if you are changing you will be required to stay on that booking system selection for 3 months minimum.
